I am not alone.

Good Doggos

The whole premise around my Blog is to try and give my reasoning and feelings toward why having some type of animal, or comfort item is better when you are living with an ailment. As said from my other blogs, I have had a pretty bad experience where my depression and anxiety was taking over my life. Then I decided I was going to fight back, and got a service animal. So far, she has been keeping me whole and kept my feet on the ground.

Recently, I have been doing a bit of digging on who else has had this type of feeling. Another Blog, called Good Dogs , said a “service dog can create a sense of calmness and confidence when their owner has difficulty in social situations. In many cases, they can help make everyday life easier by being a source of comfort when the owner is feeling the stress of a social or work situation. A dog can also sense when the owner is about to have an anxiety attack. Service dogs can make life much easier when you’re coping with either depression or anxiety”.

It makes me happy to know that there are other people who have been going through the same problems that I have, and know that I am not alone when it comes to having a service dog. My grandmother likes to say that I am too young to have these types of problems and that with Bella, I should be able to ease off my medicine. But, I can’t because combined Bella and my pills are what make me better, they make me feel like me again.

I then found another that was a full out BLOG. I was so happy. I know I am going to be keeping up on this one. Unfortunately, it looks like they have only been posting every once in a while so that’s kind of upsetting, but I will 100% go in and do some more digging on what Sue, the writer, has been blogging!
