Theodore Roosevelt and the conservation movement

The topic I want to do for my final paper and presentation will be on Theodore Roosevelt and the conservation movement. The reason I want to do it on him is because I remember back in the eighth grade in my science class when we were discussing “Global warming” and how most people back then thought it was just a conspiracy theory. My teacher Mr. Northrup had us do a section on a project on what we can do to help the environment in the long run. As a treat for us doing the projects he showed us a video which dated back to 1970’s when Ronald Regan was in presidency doing an interview for the news station, BBC. When Ronald did this interview I knew that he would be trying to do what Teddy had originally thought of doing and make the earth a better place. And so when you have us the option to do this exact project my mind started whirling with ideas on how i will write my essay and show the project. “The conservation movement, also known as nature conservation, is a political, environmental and a social movement that seeks to protect natural resources including animal and plant species as well as their habitat for the future” – as google likes to put it, which is good because it makes this essay / project easier on me when it comes to finding examples.
