My abilities to recognize and correct sentence level errors evolved over the course of the semester not to much. If referring to the Local   level of writing papers I believe that I already showed a good standing on that coming into the class.There were some instances where I forgot a comma here and there but typically nothing to big. If I felt like a sentence didn’t make since I would always re-write it out to make it readable. Judging from this I may be able to find some examples of this from my draft on discourse in the movie Zootopia with references to also Gee and Delpit. In it I first wrote It with out the strike through the word school but then went into the structure again and re wrote it out. The final copy looked as follows, ‘So she went to school the police academy and learned how to handle the ways of being a police officer from her instructor and became what she desired most.’  Looking at it now I can see that I needed a comma between ‘so’ and ‘she’, also changing ‘and became’ to: to become.
